LOGAN, Utah (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's tennis team was downed 7-0 at Utah State Sunday afternoon at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club.
The Rebels fell to 8-9 and 1-2 in the Mountain West while the Aggies improved to 17-4 and 4-1.
USU, which finished perfect at home this season, earned a 1-0 lead after taking both completed doubles matches.
In singles, the hosts won five matches in straight sets, including a long battle at the top of the lineup where Bodin Zarkovic fought off
Anton Ornberg, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (5).
UP NEXT: UNLV will celebrate Senior Day on Thursday vs. San Diego State starting at 1:30 pm. Admission to all matches at the Fertitta Tennis Complex is free of charge.
