Lady Rebels Travel To Lone Star State For Two Games

UNLV will play UTSA on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 4:30 p.m. PT/6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's basketball team is headed to Texas for a four-day road trip. UNLV will play two games in the Lone Star state with the first being against UTSA on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 4:30 p.m. PT/6:30 p.m. CT.
 
ABOUT UTSA: UNLV holds the overall series record 4-2 over UTSA. Wednesday's contest marks the first meeting between the Lady Rebels and Roadrunners in over a decade. UTSA heads into Wednesday's contest coming off a 65-64 home win over Grand Canyon. The Roadrunners are led by Cheyenne Rowe who is averaging 13.7 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game. Damara Alen is second on the squad in points, as she averages 9.2 per game.
 
BROADCAST INFO: The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with a subscription required. Fans can also listen to UNLV's live audio with play-by-play announcer Wyatt Tomchek for free on Stretch Internet.
 
MIDWAY THROUGH NON-CONFERENCE LEADERS: With three non-conference games left, the Lady Rebels have three players scoring in double-figures. Meadow Roland leads the squad with 16.3 points per game and 10.1 rebounds per game. Jasmyn Lott is the second-leading scorer with 13.3 points per game. Aaliyah Alexander averages 12.0 points per game. Mariah Elohim is the leading three-point shooter, averaging 2.0 per game.
 
LAST TIME ON THE COURT: Three different Lady Rebels scored in double-digits as the UNLV women's basketball team defeated Northern Iowa 62-56 on Friday afternoon at the Thomas & Mack Center in the final game of the UNLV Thanksgiving Turkey Tip-off. Meadow Roland led the Scarlet & Gray with 17 points by shooting 7-for-12 from the field, made two three-pointers and was a perfect 1-for-1 from the free throw line. Jasmyn Lott scored 12 points, while Aaliyah Alexander collected 11 points, respectively. Additionally, Alexander dished a team-high six assists on the day. Shelbee Brown was the squad's leader in rebounds, as she brought down 10 (three offensive, seven defensive).
 
4X MOUNTAIN WEST REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS: The Lady Rebels continued to rise last season becoming the first Mountain West team since 2017 to collect four straight regular season titles. UNLV made a trip to the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT) and collected the first postseason victory in over two decades. The Scarlet & Gray claimed the league's Coach of the Year in Lindy La Rocque and Freshman and Sixth Player of the Year for the second straight year with Meadow Roland.
 
WHAT UP SQUAD?: The Lady Rebels return five of the 13 players from their 2025 championship team, including starter Aaliyah Alexander and Mountain West Sixth and Freshman of the Year Meadow Roland. UNLV welcomes nine new players, which includes graduate students Shelbee Brown and Destiny Leo, seniors Destiny Brown and Mariah Elohim, juniors Ongolea Afu and Sydni Summers and freshmen Trystan James, Hodaya Kabada and Alexis Swillis.
