LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV Lady Rebels are back home after four straight road games to host New Mexico on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 1 p.m. at The Pavilion. This game is part of a holiday doubleheader with the men's squad who will play Fresno State at 4 p.m..
ABOUT NEW MEXICO: UNLV holds the all-time record 44-28 against New Mexico. The Lady Rebels defeated the Lobos in both meetings last season. Under head coach
Lindy La Rocque, the Scarlet & Gray are 7-3 against the Lobos having a 4-2 record in Las Vegas and 3-1 record in Albuquerque. New Mexico heads into Saturday's contest with a 9-3 overall record and a 1-0 MW record. The Lobos are led by Destinee Hooks' 14.7 points per game and Cacia Antonio's 10.0 points per game. Emma Najjuma leads New Mexico in rebounds with 5.9 per game.

TICKETS: Tickets are $6 when purchased in advance online at UNLVTickets.com. General admission tickets at the door are $10 ($8 for seniors, UNLV faculty/staff and alumni). UNLV students and Nevada high school students (presenting student ID) as well as all children 12 and under enter free.

LAST TIME ON THE COURT: Four different Lady Rebels scored in double-digits as the UNLV women's basketball team defeated Grand Canyon 61-60 in the Mountain West opener on Wednesday night at Global Credit Union Arena. The Scarlet & Gray now hold the overall series 2-1 over the Lopes.
Jasmyn Lott led the way and scored 20 points by shooting 9-for-18 from the field and was a perfect 2-for-2 from long range.
Meadow Roland was the second-leading scorer on the night with 14 points. Roland only missed one of her shots taken and was 7-for-8.
Shelbee Brown nearly had a double-double of 11 points and brought down a team-high nine rebounds.
Aaliyah Alexander also had 11 points and dished a team-high four assists.
SQUAD LEADERS: Jasmyn Lott leads the Scarlet & Gray in points per game, averaging 14.5 and she also leads the squad in made field goals with 5.6 per game.
Meadow Roland is the second leading scorer who is averaging 13.2 points per game and is tied for the team-lead in rebounds with 8.7 per game.
Aaliyah Alexander leads the Lady Rebels in assists per game with 2.7. Alexander is also the third leading scorer on the squad, averaging 10.8 points per game.
Shelbee Brown is also tied for the team-lead in rebounds with 8.7 per game.
NON-CONFERENCE WRAP: The Lady Rebels wrapped up non-conference play with a 5-5 overall record. UNLV's wins came against Washington State, DePaul, Creighton in the rematch of the 2023 NCAA First round, Northern Iowa and UTSA.
4X MOUNTAIN WEST REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS: The Lady Rebels continued to rise last season becoming the first Mountain West team since 2017 to collect four straight regular season titles. UNLV made a trip to the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT) and collected the first postseason victory in over two decades. The Scarlet & Gray claimed the league's Coach of the Year in
Lindy La Rocque and Freshman and Sixth Player of the Year for the second straight year with
Meadow Roland.
