LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – After an 11-day break, the UNLV Lady Rebels are back on the court to host Fresno State for a New Year's Eve matinee at The Pavilion. The Lady Rebels and Bulldogs will tip-off at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31.
ABOUT FRESNO STATE: The Lady Rebels are 28-22 all-time against the Bulldogs. The Scarlet & Gray have won the last nine straight meetings between the two programs and are undefeated in the
Lindy La Rocque era. Fresno State heads into Wednesday's contest with a 7-6 overall record and are 1-1 in league play. The Bulldogs are coming off a 53-36 victory over Wyoming. Fresno State has two players scoring in double-digits and are led by Ashlyn Rean's 12.7 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game. Emilia Long is not too far behind with 12.0 points per game.

TICKETS: Tickets are $6 when purchased in advance online at UNLVTickets.com. General admission tickets at the door are $10 ($8 for seniors, UNLV faculty/staff and alumni). UNLV students and Nevada high school students (presenting student ID) as well as all children 12 and under enter free.

LAST TIME ON THE COURT: For the second straight game, four Lady Rebels scored in double-figures as the UNLV women's basketball team downed New Mexico 89-71 on Dec. 20 at The Pavilion.
Destiny Leo collected a season-high 20 points to lead UNLV. Leo only missed two shots on the night going a perfect 2-for-2 at the free throw line and was huge from long range going 6-for-8.
Meadow Roland was the second-leading scorer on the day with 18 points. Roland was tied for the team-lead in assists with five.
Shelbee Brown earned her second double-double of the season with 16 points and 14 rebounds.
Aaliyah Alexander had 13 points and was tied for the team-lead in assists with five.
SQUAD LEADERS: Jasmyn Lott leads the Scarlet & Gray in points per game, averaging 13.8 and she also leads the squad in made field goals with 5.3 per game.
Meadow Roland is the second leading scorer who is averaging 13.6 points per game and is second in rebounds with 8.6 per game.
Aaliyah Alexander leads the Lady Rebels in assists per game with 2.9. Alexander is also the third leading scorer on the squad, averaging 11.0 points per game.
Shelbee Brown leads the squad in rebounds with 9.2 per game and is fourth in points per game with 8.0.
NON-CONFERENCE WRAP: The Lady Rebels wrapped up non-conference play with a 5-5 overall record. UNLV's wins came against Washington State, DePaul, Creighton in the rematch of the 2023 NCAA First round, Northern Iowa and UTSA.
4X MOUNTAIN WEST REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS: The Lady Rebels continued to rise last season becoming the first Mountain West team since 2017 to collect four straight regular season titles. UNLV made a trip to the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT) and collected the first postseason victory in over two decades. The Scarlet & Gray claimed the league's Coach of the Year in
Lindy La Rocque and Freshman and Sixth Player of the Year for the second straight year with
Meadow Roland.
