Toa Yokoyama grabbed a share of the lead and the UNLV women's golf team climbed into second Tuesday in the second round of the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championship on the Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club (Par 72, 6,286 yards).
REBEL ROUNDUP: One of two players to post an under-par scorecard on a day with strong winds, Yokoyama shot a 2-under 70 to pull herself up four spots into a tie at 2-under for the tournament alongside San Jose State's Lucia Lopez Ortega. TEAM LEADERBOARD: The Scarlet & Gray (+10) moved one spot up the team standings to stand within two shots of day-two leader San Jose State (+8) and five shots ahead of UNR (+15) in third.
