LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV rookie Ilia Snitari has been named the Mountain West Men's Tennis Freshman of the Week for the second time in three weeks, the league announced Wednesday.
 
Snitari, a native of Moldova, remains undefeated in five singles matches as a Rebel after not losing even a set over the weekend.
 
Playing at the top spot in singles and doubles, he upset his then-No. 120-ranked opponent from Boise State and then swept the top player from Utah State. He and doubles partner Illia Maksymchuk were also leading then-No. 75 ranked duo from Boise State when the match was halted.
 
The Rebels next head to play Air Force on Friday.
