LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's golf team will make the program's first appearance at the NCAA Championships since 2015 in Carlsbad, California, beginning Friday at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa (Par 72, 6,330 yards).
THE LINEUP: Representing the Rebels will be seniors
Mayumi Umezu,
McKenzi Hall and
Hina Matsui, sophomore
Zi Yu Foong and freshman
Amber Chen.
THE FIELD: Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, Cal State Fullerton, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Southern, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, LSU, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Oregon, South Carolina, Stanford, Texas, Tennessee, Purdue, UCLA, UNLV, USC, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Wake Forest.
FORMAT: The top 15 teams and top nine individuals not on those teams through three rounds of stroke play will advance to Monday's additional day of stroke play. Following 72 holes, the top eight teams will advance to match play and the individual champion will be determined. Match play will begin Tuesday and a team champion will be decided in Wednesday's finale.
BROADCAST: Golf Channel coverage is scheduled to air Monday-Wednesday, including the final 15 teams competing in stroke play and all of match play.

NOTES:
- The Rebels have posted seven top-2 tournament finishes during the 2024-25 campaign, including wins at the Mountain West Championship and Denver's Ron Moore Intercollegiate to go along with five runner-up outings.
- UNLV advanced to the NCAA Championships after finishing fourth at the Columbus Regional as the No. 7 seed.
- In her 14th year at the helm of the UNLV women's golf program, head coach Amy Bush-Herzer was named MW Coach of the Year for the fourth time. She has also been placed on the WGCA National Coach of the Year Watch List.
- The Scarlet & Gray captured the program's eighth conference title and fifth of Bush-Herzer's tenure at this year's MW Championship. They did so by winning the league championship's historic first playoff.
- Additionally, the squad has seen Umezu (Cowgirl Classic), Hall (Jim West Challenge) and Toa Yokoyama (Westbrook Invitational) each grab one second-place individual finish on the year.
- This will be the fifth time the Rebels have played at the NCAA Championships and the second during Bush-Herzer's tenure.
