LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV Lady Rebels hit the road for the next Mountain West contest visiting Wyoming on Saturday, Jan. 10. This marks the first of two meetings between the two squads this season.
ABOUT WYOMING: UNLV holds the all-time record 32-29 all-time against Wyoming and are 5-1 in the last six outings. Under head coach
Lindy La Rocque, the Scarlet & Gray are 8-4 against the Cowgirls. The Lady Rebels and Cowgirls closed out the regular season last year in Laramie with Wyoming earning the victory. The Cowgirls head into Saturday's contest with a 4-10 overall record and a 1-4 MW record. Wyoming has suffered four straight MW losses. The Cowgirls are led by Malene Pedersen's 16.9 points per game and 3.9 rebounds per game. Henna Sandvik is the second-leading scorer with 9.8 points per game.

LAST TIME ON THE COURT: Three Lady Rebels scored in double-digits as the UNLV women's basketball team earned a 69-58 win against Utah State on Wednesday night at The Pavilion. This marks the fourth straight season the Scarlet & Gray have started league play 5-0.
Jasmyn Lott led the way with a career-high 23 points by shooting 9-for-14 from the field, 3-for-6 from long range and was a perfect 2-for-2 from the charity stripe.
Meadow Roland and
Shelbee Brown each collected double-doubles for the Lady Rebels. Roland tallied 18 points and 14 rebounds, while
Shelbee Brown had 16 points and 16 rebounds, respectively. Roland additionally had a team-high three blocked shots.
SQUAD LEADERS: Jasmyn Lott leads the Scarlet & Gray in points per game, averaging 13.6 and she also leads the squad in made field goals with 5.2 per game.
Meadow Roland is the second leading scorer who is averaging 13.5 points per game and is second in rebounds with 8.6 per game.
Aaliyah Alexander leads the Lady Rebels in assists per game with 3.1. Alexander is also the third leading scorer on the squad, averaging 10.9 points per game.
Shelbee Brown leads the squad in rebounds with 9.2 per game and is fourth in points per game with 9.1.
NON-CONFERENCE WRAP: The Lady Rebels wrapped up non-conference play with a 5-5 overall record. UNLV's wins came against Washington State, DePaul, Creighton in the rematch of the 2023 NCAA First round, Northern Iowa and UTSA.
4X MOUNTAIN WEST REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS: The Lady Rebels continued to rise last season becoming the first Mountain West team since 2017 to collect four straight regular season titles. UNLV made a trip to the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT) and collected the first postseason victory in over two decades. The Scarlet & Gray claimed the league's Coach of the Year in
Lindy La Rocque and Freshman and Sixth Player of the Year for the second straight year with
Meadow Roland.
