LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV women's golfer Kuree Little was named the Raising Cane's Outstanding Rebel of the Week, the school announced Thursday.
Little earns the honor for the first time and the first for a golfer in the 2026-27 academic year.
The award goes to the student-athlete who turned in the best individual performance during the previous week of competition from Monday through Sunday as voted on by the UNLV Athletics Strategic Communications department.
Out of Palmdale, California, the standout freshman helped UNLV to its second consecutive team victory to open the season at the Ben Connell Ram Classic. She posted the program's second-lowest tournament score by a freshman at 12-under 204 for a six-shot advantage over the runners-up at the event.
Her scores in Fort Collins, Colorado, included a 1-under 71 in the first round, a 5-under 67 in the second round and a 6-under 66 final round to secure the solo trophy. Little's efforts led to her being named the Mountain West Golfer and Freshman of the Month.
