Zi Yu Foong took second place and the UNLV women's golf team finished fourth as it wrapped up hosting duties Tuesday at the Lady Luck Invitational presented by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority at Las Vegas Country Club (Par 72, 6,529 yards).
REBEL ROUNDUP: Foong (70-70-75) ended the tournament at 1-under 215 on the way to her third top-2 finish of the season. Adding three more Rebel top-25 finishes, sophomore
Amber Chen (+7) tied for 17th, freshman
Lana Yamagata (+8) tallied a season-low round on the day with a 4-under 68 to tie for 19th and freshman
Demi Du (+9) tied for 23rd.
As a team, the Rebels shot their best round of the event with a final-round 3-over 291 en route to tying its best team finish of the 2025-26 campaign. Additionally, the Scarlet & Gray landed ahead of four of the seven top-50 teams that competed at the tournament, including No. 19 Baylor and No. 28 Oklahoma State from the Big 12.
CHAMPIONS: UCF (+2) hung on to grab the team crown, while Kent State's (-2) Veronika Kedroňová earned individual medalist honors.
Playing as individuals, freshman Len Yiu (+14) finished 34th, junior
Jane Huang (+18) snuck into the top 50 at 46th, junior
Leonie Krausse (+22) followed in 59th and sophomore
Caitlin Shippam (+33) came in 76th.
