SAN FRANCISCO (UNLVRebels.com) – A trio of Rebels sits in the top 30 after UNLV women's golf finished Monday's opening two rounds at the Juli Inkster Invitational at TPC Harding Park (Par 72, 6,275 yards) being co-hosted by San Francisco and San José State.
REBEL ROUNDUP: Sophomore
Amber Chen (+4), who shot a first-round 3-under 69, leads the Scarlet & Gray lineup in a tie for 23rd. Junior
Zi Yu Foong (+5) and freshman
Demi Du (+5) follow just a few spots behind in a tie for 29th.
Also competing at the event for the Rebels are freshmen
Lana Yamagata (+9) in a tie for 55th and freshman
Yen Liu (+17) in 73rd.
DAY-ONE LEADERBOARD: Cal takes the team lead into the second day at 2-over 578 through 36 holes. The Golden Bears' Constance Fouillet holds the individual lead at 6-under 138 after two rounds. UNLV (+23) is in ninth place in the team standings.
