LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – Nearly 80 current and former UNLV student-athletes are eligible to take part in this weekend's annual Spring Commencement Ceremonies at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Undergraduates will be recognized in ceremonies on Saturday after masters and doctoral grads take part in their ceremony Friday – all led by UNLV President Dr. Chris Heavey.
As part of the celebration, the UNLV Athletics Department hosted its annual Senior Send-Off reception for graduates and their families Friday morning at the Thomas & Mack Center's Strip View Pavilion.
Some of the Class of 2026 spring graduates have remaining eligibility and will compete for their respective teams again next season while pursuing either a master's or second bachelor's degree.
Overall, UNLV expects to award more than 3,700 degrees during its spring 2026 commencement at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Class of 2026 graduates hail from 34 states and 62 countries. The graduating class ranges in age from 18 to 77 and nearly half of all students are the first in their family to earn a degree. The top bachelor's degree-producing disciplines are from the Lee Business School and College of Liberal Arts, while the College of Education topped the list for master's degree recipients.
Since 1964, UNLV has awarded more than 190,000 degrees to more than 155,000 alumni.
