LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) — UNLV men's soccer sophomore forward Maxim Scordo earned his first Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week award, the conference announced Monday. This is the first weekly honor awarded to a Rebel this season.

A native of Newport Beach, California, Scordo netted his first career brace to guide UNLV to a 2-1 season-opening win over CSUN. In the Scarlet & Gray's lone match of the week, he finished with four points and converted each of his two shots into goals.
