ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (UNLVRebels.com) – Seniors Ryan Abuan and Mason Snyder pace the UNLV men's golf team in the individual top 25 after weather suspended Friday's completion of the opening rounds of the William H. Tucker Invitational at UNM Championship Course (par 72, 7,555 yards).

With more than half of the second round finished, Abuan finds himself tied for 16th at 3-under and Snyder follows in a tie for 22nd at 2-under.

REBEL ROUNDUP: Adding another Rebel par-or-better score, senior Zach Little finished the day in a tie for 32nd at even par. In a tie for 43rd are junior Avery Lazarski in the Scarlet & Gray lineup and junior Mason Haley (+1) playing as an individual. Sophomore Aaron Van Hauwe is tied for 76th.

SECOND-ROUND HIGHLIGHTS: After finishing with a 4-over 292 in the first round, the Rebels' clubs warmed up as they posted an 8-under as a team in the second round up until the play suspension. Abuan followed up his first-round 1-under 71 by going 3-under and Snyder improved from his first-round 3-over by tallying a 5-under partway through the round.

FIRST-ROUND HIGHLIGHTS: Along with Abuan's under-par opening 18 holes, Little shot an even-par 72 and Haley added his own even-par opening round.

DAY-ONE LEADERBOARD: San Diego State holds the day-one lead at 14-under and SDSU's Brayden Forte takes the individual lead at 11-under. UNLV (-4) will aim to continue its climb up the standings from its tied-for-11th spot.

UP NEXT: The second round will resume at 6:30 a.m. PT, while the final round will begin immediately after. Teams will play in the same groups in the third round.
