Feb 3, 2003

2003 Mountain West Conference Championships are a mere 16 days away and the Rebel women are getting ready! The women are coming into the championships with the title of regular season champs already under their belt. The hope of winning conference would be the icing on the cake.(No pressure!) The Rebel women have had an incredible season, and I just want to congratulate every each one of the girls for sticking around and making it this far. This season had been undoubtedly tough but we made it...it's all downhill from here. Keep your heads up ladies.

I also want to take this opportunity to recognize one of the greatest human beings I have ever met, and who will be finishing of her last year of swimming...

-Mada, you have been an inspiration for all of us and you are nothing short of a hero. You are so incredibly courageous and you have made me realize that with enough gumption and heart, anything is possible. It'll be sad to see you go, but you will always be someone we will always remember. Good luck in the future...we'll miss you.

Holla!
