LAS VEGAS - Sophomore Danny Erez came from behind to take a three-set thriller and help the UNLV men's tennis team rally for a 4-3 Senior Day victory over Arkansas-Little Rock at the Fertitta Tennis Complex Sunday.

The 53rd-ranked Rebels, who broke a three-match losing streak, improved to 6-7 and finished with a 4-3 home record this spring.

Arkansas-Little Rock, ranked 64th, opened the day by winning two of three doubles matches for one team point.

In singles play, senior Asaf Tishler won his 11th-straight match, 6-1, 6-1, over Felipe McCluskey at the top spot. Tishler, ranked 37th, finished with a perfect 7-0 record at Fertitta this season and has lost just one set during his current winning streak.

The Trojans, however, picked up two points to take a 3-1 lead before the Rebels got a win from Gregor Skorin, 6-2, 6-1, over Tudor Calancea. Erez, who was blanked in the first set, then scratched out his third-set tie-breaker 8-6 to win 0-6, 6-1, 7-6 at the fourth spot. Nenad Zivkovic closed out a 7-6, 6-4 victory over 100th-ranked Danny Iniesta at the second position to clinch the team win.

UNLV next travels to WAC-rival BYU on April 1.
