BALTIMORE, Md. - UNLV sophomore Nenad Zivkovic won his match in straight sets to advance in the qualifying portion of the 1998 T. Rowe Price National Clay Court Championships being held at the Suburban Racquet Club Tuesday.

Unseeded Zivkovic defeated seventh-seeded Trevor Spracklin of William & Mary, 6-4, 6-4, to move on to Wednesday's final round of qualifying.

The Rebels had three players -- Damu Bobb, Gregor Skorin and Danny Erez - lose in three sets Tuesday and were eliminated.

Main draw action of what is the ITA's initial leg of the Collegiate Grand Slam runs from September 24-27.
