Tishler Falls at All-American Tourney

AUSTIN, Texas - UNLV's Asaf Tishler lost in the second round and was eliminated from the 1998 ITA All-American Men's Tennis Championships held at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center Friday.

Tishler, ranked 27th nationally, fell in three sets to 11th-ranked Jean-Noel Grinda of UCLA, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.

In doubles play, the Rebels' top team of Gregor Skorin and Nenad Zivkovic moved into the second round of the consolation round. The duo, ranked 25th, won Friday, 6-4, 6-3, over Jamie Gordon and Jason Marshall of Purdue.
