Women's Soccer Wins In Double Overtime

LAS VEGAS, NV - The Rebels defeated Cal State Northridge 2-1, in double overtime Sunday night.

The win extends their home unbeaten streak to six games, and they improve their all-time home record to 9-1-1. The Rebels overall record for the season is 5-3-1.

Thyre Brooks led off the scoring with a goal assisted by Anita Pedford from about 25 yards on the right side. Anita Pedford was the star of the night with a goal and an assist. The winning goal by Pedford, came in double overtime on a corner kick shot that hooked around the goal post on the left side.

The Rebels will finish their homestand with a match on Friday, Oct. 1 against Kentucky. The Rebels then travel to Wyoming on Oct. 8 and then to Air Force on Oct. 10.
