AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) - Trevor Diggs scored 28 points and Dalron Johnson added 22 points and pulled down 14 rebounds as UNLV beat Air Force 98-73 in Mountain West Conference play Saturday.

Kaspars Kambala added 17 points as UNLV improved its record to 10-4, 1-1 in conference play.

Tyron Wright led Air Force (4-9, 0-1) with 17 points, while Lawrence Yazzie had 14 and Jarvis Croff added 10.

UNLV opened the game with an 18-7 run and never looked back.

The Falcons closed the half with a 13-3 spurt to cut the halftime deficit to 49-38.

Air Force closed to within nine points, 49-40, behind a basket to open the second half. But UNLV went on a 22-9 run to take a 22-point lead, 71-49, with 11:20 remaining.

Air Force never got closer than 19 points after that.
