Pepperdine Blanks Men's Tennis

MALIBU, Calif. - The 49th-ranked UNLV men's tennis team failed to win a set in falling to 21st-ranked Pepperdine 7-0 at Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center Saturday.

The Rebels, who have never beaten Pepperdine, fell to 0-3 while the Waves improved to 3-0.

Pepperdine began the day by sweeping all three doubles matches for one team point then took all six singles matches in straight sets.

UNLV is off until opening its home season with the first round of its annual men's invitational on Feb. 11.
