LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's and women's basketball teams will hold Rebel Fan Jam 2000 presented by Gameworks on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the Thomas & Mack Center.

The doors will open at 6 p.m. with the event scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

Fan Jam 2000 will feature a 3-point contest, slam dunk showcase and a scarlet & gray exhibition for both squads. Both squads will be available for autographs. The UNLV band and cheerleaders will also be present for the festivities.

Free posters will be given away to everyone in attendance. The first 200 fans will be given an Official Fan Jam T-Shirt and the next 500 will receive a $10 Gameworks gamecard coupon.

The event is co-sponsored by CSUN Student Government Entertainment and Programming.

UNLV, under sixth-year head coach Bill Bayno, will open the exhibition schedule against the Delta Jammers on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 7:35 p.m.

The Lady Rebels, under third-year head coach Regina Miller, will open the exhibition schedule against the Chinese National Team on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 5:00 p.m.
