NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Kaspars Kambala had 22 points and 16 rebounds as UNLV beat Old Dominion 82-67 on Sunday.

Trevor Diggs added 21 points for UNLV (7-5), and Dalron Johnson added 14 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots.

Andre McCullum led Old Dominion (4-9) with 17 points. Rasheed Wright added 16 points, including 9-of-12 from the free-throw line, and center Clifton Jones had 10 rebounds and three blocked shots.

The Monarchs led by one at the half but shot only 25 percent from the field in the second quarter.

Kambala scored 14 points in the second half.

"Kambala just wore us down in the second half," ODU coach Jeff Capel said. "We've been tested from a hard schedule, but we're only a game or two away from where I thought we'd be."
