Men's Tennis Falls Short at Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. - Playing indoors for the first time this season, the 58th-ranked UNLV men's tennis team won two of the top three singles positions but still fell to 61st-ranked Tulsa 5-2 at the Southern Tennis Courts Friday.

Vladimir Pavicevic upset No. 88 Nenad Toroman, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2, at the top spot and Danny Erez got by Pawel Sebastyanski, 7-6, 7-5, at the third position. Also winning for the Rebels was the doubles team of Tyler Roberts and Robbie Parlade, 8-7, at the third spot.

UNLV fell to 3-4 while Tulsa improved to 6-2. The Rebels will stay in Tulsa to face 10th-ranked Virginia Commonwealth on Saturday.
