WHEN DID YOU START PLAYING BASKETBALL: When I was five. Started playing organized basketball when I was in 7th grade.
WHY OR WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO PLAY: Michael Jordan
PREGAME RITUAL: Prayer and getting myself mentally focused.
BEST UNLV MEMORY: Getting through my freshman year.
WORST UNLV MOMENT: Being new and not knowing anyone my freshman year.
BEST BASKETBALL MEMORY: Blocking #33 from Wyoming last year. (If you don't remember this awesome moment, it is on every, I mean EVERY highlight film from last year, including the one on this website, and can be seen at every home game this season, thanks to our awesome CAMERA CREW!)
WHY UNLV: Because I liked the campus as well as the city.

ULTIMATE GOAL IN LIFE: To graduate from college, have a successful career so that I can support my daughter.
DREAM JOB: I want to work with kids, disadvantaged kids, and be a positive role model in their lives. I really just want to make a difference.
WHAT IS SOMETHING HARDLY ANYONE WOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU: That I have a two-year-old baby girl, UNIQUE. (And she is the cutest...)
HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO RAISE A DAUGHTER, GO TO COACH MILLER SCHOOL (PLAY BASKETBALL), AND HANDLE YOUR FULL LOAD OF COLLEGE CLASSES: I look to the future, and always keep the long-term benefits in mind. That is what keeps me going. Knowing that in the end both my daughter and I will be able to live happily. Also my loving sister moved all the way here to help me manage basketball, school, and my baby girl. Without my sister there would be no me.
WHAT YOU WANT TO BE REMEMBERED BY: Making a difference in someone else's life, and as a GOOD mother.
MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT: Last year I ran an 11-minute mile. (And trust me she didn't live that one down for a while.)
TEAM NOTES ON TALISHA: Off the court -TALISHA has an awesome VOICE, and whenever we can convince her that not that many people are listening and after a lot of begging and pleading she will sing a few lines. Hopefully everyone will be able to hear her voice when she sings the national anthem for us on our last home game.(San Diego State, Feb. 24) Rumor has it that she is the PLAYER on the team. She is usually sporting the GAP, or Guess clothes. Also another rumor is that she makes a mad dash to the computer, in order to beat everyone else to Black Planet or email. I have never seen her mad dash, but it comes from a few reliable sources that lived with her over Christmas break. She is a great mom, and has a huge heart which makes the world of a difference for the people that are around her.
MOST LIKELY TO BE SEEN ON THE COURT: Jumping through the air, or sliding across the FLOOR, somehow she can't manage to stay on her feet! She has MAD hops, but somehow she spends more time on the floor getting her t-shirt dirty. She has a famous dribble, dribble, hop move. AND is also known for her famous BLOCKS. HER incredible speed (EXCEPT Last year mile), and her Tenacious Defense!
