April 11, 2001

LAS VEGAS - The No. 65 UNLV women's tennis team lost 4-3 to a ranked opponent for the fifth time this season as No. 8 Fresno State escaped Lady Rebel Senior Day by one point at the Fertitta Tennis Complex Wednesday.

UNLV fell to 7-11 overall and closed out its 2001 home season with a 3-10 mark while the Bulldogs improved to 14-3.
