LAS VEGAS - UNLV senior forward Kelly Frederick (St. John's, Antigua) was named to the 2002 NSCAA / adidas All Far-West Second Team as announced by the regional All-America committee Monday.

Frederick finished the year as the team's second leading scorer with 25 points on 10 goals and five assists enroute to All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation First Team honors. He was also third best among the league's top scorers in 2002.

Last season, Frederick was named an All-Far West Third Team selection. The former junior college transfer amassed 41 career points on 16 goals and nine assists during his two-year career at UNLV.
