LAS VEGAS - DePaul pitcher Lindsay Chouinard improved to a perfect 4-0 on the year as she led the Blue Demons to a 3-1 victory over the UNLV softball team at Eller Media Stadium on Sunday.

UNLV (9-8) managed just four hits off the DePaul ace, who has not allowed an earned run this season. The Rebels scored their only run in the bottom of the seventh with the help of a single and a fielding error.

Throughout the game, Chouinard controlled the Rebel hitters, giving up just one single and one walk through five innings. Lisa Moses and Morgan Bostwick hit doubles off the ace in the sixth and seventh, respectively, and Wendy Godwin's pinch-hit single drove in the Rebs' only run.

On the flip side, UNLV freshman pitcher Jackie Kerrigan (2-4) gave up eight hits and just two earned runs, both of which scored on a two-run blast by DPU's Christina Douglas. Kacey Ellis pitched two no-hit innings in relief.

The loss to the Blue Demons was the Rebels' second in two days as DePaul pulled out a 3-2 victory on Saturday.
