LAS VEGAS - Pacific scored four runs in the final three innings to break a 1-1 tie and hand the UNLV softball team its fourth straight loss, 5-1 at Eller Media Stadium on Sunday.

The 12th-ranked Tigers (10-3) pounded out nine hits in the win, including two doubles, a triple and a home run off Rebel starter Nicole Truax (2-2).

Down 1-0, UNLV (9-9) tied the game on a solo home run by catcher Melissa Inouye in the third. It was Inouye's second long ball in as many days against UOP.

The tie didn't last long as the Tigers' Michelle Anunciation answered with a solo shot of her own in the fifth. UOP added another run after a Cindy Ball double and Brandi Gordon triple in the sixth and posted two insurance runs in the seventh.

Ball (6-2) was dominant in the circle as well, striking out 10 Rebels on the way to her sixth win of the year.

Despite the loss, UNLV recorded its first errorless game of the year.

UNLV returns to action next weekend when it travels to St. George, Utah, to compete in the Utah Red Desert Classic.
