LIEGE, Belgium - The UNLV women's soccer team lost to Standard Liege, 4-1, Sunday afternoon in the second game and sixth day of the Rebels overseas tour of Europe.

Senior midfielder Kelly Janke (Bellflower, Calif.) scored UNLV's lone goal of the match, while the Rebels outshot their opponents, 13-9. Standard Liege is a member of Belgium's First Division soccer league.

"It was a good game overall and the players did well against one of Belgium's top club teams," UNLV coach Dan Abdalla said.

A Rhine River cruise and more sightseeing concludes the team's stay in Belgium with a road trip to Amsterdam up next. The Rebels will wrap up their European vacation on May 31.
