SAN DIEGO - The UNLV men's tennis team lost to a short-handed San Diego State team 5-2 Sunday at the SDSU Tennis Courts.
The Rebels fell to 2-10 overall and 0-3 in Mountain West Conference play.
The 34th-ranked Aztecs won the top two doubles matches for one team point despite conceding the No. 3 match by default.
In singles play, the Rebels earned a point at No. 6 because of another default and got a win from Milos Blagojevic at No. 5, 6-1, 6-2 over Michael Coehlo. UNLV will complete its regular season with two matches next weekend, starting at Utah on Friday.
