PROVO, Utah - The UNLV men's tennis team closed out its regular season winless in the Mountain West Conference after a 4-1 loss at No. 63 BYU at the Indoor Tennis Courts Saturday.
The Rebels fell to 2-12 overall and 0-5 in the league while the Cougars improved to 8-10 and 2-1.
UNLV was swept in three doubles matches for one team point. The only Rebel to score in singles was Aviram Salomon, who downed Jeff Olsen 6-3, 7-6 at No. 3. The final two matches were halted after the Cougars clinched the victory.
The Rebels are off until competing in the MWC championship on April 24-26, which will be held at BYU.
