LAS VEGAS - The UNLV softball team will conduct tryouts for the 2003 team next Thursday, Aug. 28, at 6:00 p.m. at Eller Media Stadium, head coach Lonni Alameda announced Friday.

Tryouts are open to all UNLV students, but interested players must attend a pre-tryout meeting in the softball office at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26. The meeting will include paperwork used to determine eligibility requirements.

Players are asked to bring their own equipment to the field for Thursday's tryout.
