Eight-Team Invite Starts Friday

LAS VEGAS - The annual UNLV Men's Tennis Invitational kicks off Friday with eight teams competing at the Fertitta Tennis Complex this weekend.

Squads from Oklahoma, Texas-Arlington, Weber State, Nevada, Reno, Idaho State, New Mexico State and Utah State will take on the host Rebels in a bracket format culminating in Sunday's championship at noon on the UNLV campus.

First through eighth place will be determined by playing four matches a day running concurrently at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and at 9 a.m. and noon on Sunday. Admission to all tournament matches is free.

Last year, UNLV lost its own spring invite for the first time in eight years as Pacific downed the Rebels 4-0 in the championship match.
