LAS VEGAS - Four of the five games scheduled for action in the UNLV softball tournament on Sunday were cancelled after heavy rains flooded the field at Eller Media Stadium.
Among the games cancelled was a 1:30 matchup between UNLV and Louisiana-Monroe. The game will not be made up.
The first game of the morning, between Northwestern State and Arkansas, was completed. The game was called in the fifth inning after it became official, a 6-1 victory for Northwestern State.
With the morning win, Northwestern State capped a perfect 5-0 weekend and captured the tournament title.
