Good To Be Back

LAS VEGAS - Playing its first match in more than two weeks, the UNLV men's tennis team did not lose a set in shutting out UC Riverside 7-0 at the Fertitta Tennis Complex Monday.

In evening their record at 3-3, the Rebels have already surpassed last season's win total of two.

UNLV sweept three doubles matches for one team point and in singles play, all six Rebels won in straight sets. At the top position, 55th-ranked Henner Nehles breezed 6-1, 6-2 over Norman Tam. Also victorious was Romain Massaro at No. 2, Aviram Salomon at No. 3, Joel Kielbowicz at No. 4, David DiMartino at No. 5 and Marko Blagojevic on Court Six.

UNLV will host Boston College on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., weather permitting.
