BOISE, Idaho - The UNLV men's tennis team concluded play at the Boise State Invitational on Saturday by defeating Cornell 4-2.
With the win, the Rebels improve to 9-6 on the season.
UNLV dropped two of its three doubles matches, but won four of five complete singles matches to claim the victory.
The winners for the Rebels were: 77th-ranked Henner Nehles over Zack Gallin (7-6, 6-3), Joel Kielbowitz over Scott Spencer (6-1, 6-1), David DiMartino over Nic Brunner (6-2, 6-3) and Marko Blajogevic over Abedin Sham (7-6, 7-5). Brett McKeon defeated UNLV's Romain Massaro for the Rebels' only singles defeat, while the match between Avi Salomon and Scott Paltrowitz did not finish.
UNLV will be back in action on Friday, April 2 as it hosts BYU at 1:30 p.m.
