LAS VEGAS - UNLV Athletics announced Monday that the contract of Director of Strength and Conditioning Mark Philippi will not be renewed.

Philippi, who joined the program as an assistant in 1991, was named coordinator in 1993 and director in 1999.

A search for a new director will begin immediately.
