Rebels Hit The Road For Palm Springs Classic...After three consecutive weekends of hosting tournaments, it is time for UNLV to head west and play away from the friendly confines of Eller Media Stadium.  Up next for the Rebels is a visit to the Palm Springs Classic held at Big League Dreams in Cathedral City.
On deck for UNLV are games against Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Bethune Cookman, Texas A&M and Cal State Fullerton. In total there will be 24 teams playing in the Classic, with many top 25 teams in attendance. The finalists from 2004's NCAA National Championship will be present, UCLA and California.
Palm Springs Classic Competition...Ohio State Buckeyes:  2005 record:  4-1.UNLV leads series, 2-0.Last meeting in 1995, UNLV won 4-1.2004 record:  35-25 overall, 8-11 (6th Big 10).

Oklahoma State Cowgirls: 2005 record: 8-4.OSU leads series 8-2. Last meeting in 2005, OSU won 4-1.2004 record: 41-20 overall, 16-13 (6th SEC).

Bethune Cookman Wildcats: 2005 record: 2-1.First meeting.2004 record: 44-28 overall, 14-2 (1st Mid-Eastern Athletic).

Texas A&M Aggies: 2005 record: 11-1.A&M leads series, 4-2. Last meeting in 2002, A&M won 6-2.2004 record: 33-22 overall, 13-3 (2nd Big 12).

Cal State Fullerton Titans: 2005 record: 2-2.Fullerton leads series 35-20. Last meeting in 2000, Fullerton won.2004 record: 18-34 overall, 7-14 (6th Big West).
