Rebels Scheduled For Tuesday & Wednesday...

With the conclusion of the Eller Media Stadium Classic and the enviable task of hosting five tournaments in one season, UNLV will face its first mid-week competition. The Rebels have become accustomed to playing games beginning on Thursday and carrying through until Sunday, but these games will change that format.

On deck for the Rebels is a doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon. Following the Minnesota-Long Island match-up, UNLV will play Long Island at 3 p.m., and follow that up with a game against Minnesota. On Wednesday, the Rebels and Blackbirds of LIU will square off for their second meeting in as many days at 1 p.m.

Mid-Week Competition...Long Island:  2005 record:  2-11.Last 5:  2-3.UNLV leads series, 2-1.Last meeting in 2004, UNLV won 2-0.2004 record:  27-28 overall, 16-2 (1st Northeast).

Minnesota:  2005 record:  13-11.Last 5:  3-2.UNLV leads series 3-2.  Last meeting in 2005, UM won 5-2.2004 record:  33-23 overall, 10-10 (5th Big 10).
