Rebels To Play In Final Tournament... After a washout in Reno, UNLV is ready to get back to playing its full slate of games. Mother Nature has reared her ugly head too many times in the `05 softball campaign and washed out too many games from the schedule. UNLV and Nevada, Reno were halted after four innings had been played in their game last last Saturday. The game was tied at four, but rains delayed the game and eventually cancelled it. Game two scheduled was cancelled, as well.

UNLV will travel to the Bay Area in northern California for games at the Stanford Invitational. On the lineup card are games against two top-25 foes (Northwestern and Stanford) and three more against Illinois, Hawaii and St. Mary's.
