Rebels Continue Roadie Lifestyle... UNLV went 4-1 at the Stanford Invitational with wins over Illinois, #20/24 Northwestern, Hawaii and Saint Mary's. Those four wins added to three previous "W's" gave UNLV a seven-game winning streak that was halted by a loss to the 5th-ranked Stanford Cardinal.

This weekend the Rebels enter conference play with a 23-12 overall record and on the outside looking in of the latest USA Today/NFCA softball poll. UNLV received 11 votes.

Opening Weekend MWC Competition...

New Mexico:  2005 record:  10-17.Last 5:  3-2.UNM leads the series, 20-18.Last meeting in 2004, the Lobos won 3-0.2004 record:  30-35 overall, 3-16 (6th Mountain West).In `04, UNLV & UNM played five times, UNLV won three contests.

Colorado State:  2005 record:  21-11.Last 5:  4-1.CSU leads series, 24-15.Last meeting in 2004, the Rams won 4-3.2004 record:  40-14 overall, 16-4 (1st Mountain West).In `04, UNLV & CSU played four times, CSU won all four meetings.
