LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's golf team moved up another spot to No. 6 in the nation in the latest edition of the Golfweek ratings.
UNLV moved to seventh from 15th after winning its first team title of the season at the PING Arizona Intercollegiate in January and is now just one spot out of the top five.
The first five remained unchanged with Florida claiming the top spot. Stanford is No. 2 followed by Oklahoma State, Georgia and Alabama. Lamar follows UNLV in seventh, while Coastal Carolina, Tennessee and UCLA round out the top 10.
The Rebels have three players ranked in the top 50 of the individual ratings. Junior Jarred Texter is rated 16th in the country, senior Ryan Keeney is 41st and junior C.J. Gatto is 46th.
New Mexico's Charlie Beljan is the nation's top rated individual golfer followed by USC's Jamie Lovemark.
UNLV will be back in action Feb. 21-23, at the John Burns Intercollegiate in Wahiawa, Hawaii.
