The Rebels got a 4-for-4 (three doubles), two runs and one RBI performance from Jaci Hull, while Stephanie Bregante (7-5) kept the Hornets off the scoreboard.
The game was scoreless until UNLV came to the plate in the third inning. Hull came up with one out and delivered her second double, in as many bats, to right center. Following the second out of the inning, Brittany Bolinger hit a shot that was got past Amy Tompkins at short. Hull wound up scoring on the single.
Hull gave UNLV a two-run cushion in the fifth after reaching on a chopper to first. Hull moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Kelli Fangonilo. Bolinger pushed Hull to third on a fly out to right center. Kendall Fearn brought Hull home with an RBI-single to center.
The Rebels added an insurance run in the sixth off of Hull's third double and fourth overall hit of the game.
