The 14-team field was scheduled to play two rounds (36 holes) on Monday, but rainy conditions suspended play less than halfway into the second round.

Kent State's David Ludlow leads all individuals after shooting an opening-round 6-under 66. Purdue's Vince Nadeau is second at 4-under, while UNLV was led by Seung-Su Han, who is in a four-way tie for third place at 2-under 70.
