Competing this year for UNLV as a team will be Seung-su Han, Jarred Texter, Eddie Olson, Ji Moon and Kanda. Other Rebels competing as individuals include C.J. Gatto, Kinsinger, Loska, Kevin Carrigan and Pinjuv. The Rebels that make up UNLV's team will also be eligible to win individual medalist honors.
San Diego State took the team title last year, running away at 30-under. Boise State finished second at 16-under. San Diego State's Aaron Goldberg won individual medalist honors at 12-under, surviving a playoff.
UNLV is coming off a 10th-place finish at its second tournament of the year, the PING/Golfweek Preview, which was held in West Lafayette, Ind., Sept. 22-23.
