LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's tennis team won two of three doubles matches but only one of six singles matchups on Friday in day two of the Rebel Fall Invitational held at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
The event is made up of individual singles and doubles matches between players from UNLV and the University of South Carolina.
The hosts, who are playing without their top player, Elliot Wronski, who was at a national tournament, got doubles wins from Wesley Burrows and Attila Toth, 8-5, over David Wolff and Ivan Machado, and Luca Barlocchi and Andrew Giuffrida, 8-5, over Joseph Veeder and Thomas Stoddard.
In singles play, only Bryan Miller was victorious, downing Wolff 7-6, 7-6. Saturday's final-day action will begin at 10 a.m. Admission to all matches is free of charge.
