LAS VEGAS - The UNLV Rebel softball team will play two weekends this fall to tune up for the 2009 season. The Rebels will host both weekends at Eller Media Stadium, which is located on UNLV's campus. UNLV will play four games each weekend with contests on Oct. 17-18 and Nov. 1-2.

UNLV will welcome Lubbock Christian University (Lubbock, Texas) and Cypress College (Cypress, Calif.) to Las Vegas for the two-day affair this weekend (Oct. 17-18). Each team will play a total of four games with two against each foe. The Rebels will play the first two contests each day with Friday's games set for 10:00 am (LCU) and 12:30 pm (CC). On Saturday, UNLV will play at 9:00 am (LCU) and 11:30 am (CC).

The Rebels will close out its fall action against Southern Utah (Cedar City) and College of Southern Nevada on Nov. 1-2. Just like the first weekend of fall ball, each team will play a total of four games with two against each other. UNLV will open up Saturday, Nov. 1, with 10:00 am (SUU) and 12:00 pm (CSN) games. On Sunday, Nov. 2, the Rebels will play the days last two games at 12:00 pm (SUU) and 2:00 pm (CSN).
