LAS VEGAS - Just one week after being two of 11 Rebels named to the 2008 Spring Academic All-Mountain West Conference Team, Brittany Bolinger and Caitlyn Paus added one more accolade to each of their lists of achievement with today's announcement by the league office of the 2007-08 MWC Scholar-Athlete Award.

This is the fourth MWC Scholar-Athlete Award for Paus and the third for Bolinger.

The MWC Scholar-Athlete Award is the highest academic honor bestowed by the Conference. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least two academic terms at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have participated in varsity competition in an NCAA-sponsored sport.
