SCOUTING COLORADO STATE: Colorado State heads into the weekend with a 17-17 overall record and a 5-4 Mountain West record. The Rams are coming off a 2-1 series victory over Boise State. CSU fell in game one, but defeated BSU in the next two games. Madi Eslinger leads the Colorado State offense with a .400 batting average. Lauren Stucky is second on the squad in batting with a .365. Kyra Smith is the home run and RBI leader for the Rams, as she has five homers and 29 RBI. Reagan Wick is the leading pitcher with a 2.54 ERA. She has made 21 appearances and 15 starts. Wick has pitched 10 complete games including four shutouts and has one save on the season.Â

SERIES PROMOTIONS: Fans in attendance will receive a 2026 UNLV softball schedule poster all weekend. This weekend, the Rebels are raising awareness for child abuse. Be sure to pick up educational information on how to combat child abuse, as well as a blue sticker, wristbands, and a pinwheel, while supplies last. Additionally, on Friday Smoken Sam's concessions will have $5 select beers and on Saturday they will have $3 hot dogs. Following each game, fans in attendance have the opportunity to get autographs from their favorite Rebels.

TICKETS: Tickets are on sale now for the 2026 UNLV softball season. Season tickets are $50 for adults, $40 for seniors, faculty and staff, and alumni. Single-game tickets are $6 in advance and at the game $10 for adults and $8 for seniors, faculty and staff. Kids under 12, Nevada High School students with their high school ID, UNLV students are free at all home contests

LAST TIME ON THE FIELD: The UNLV softball team defeated Fresno State 5-3 in the series finale on Sunday at Margie Wright Diamond. The Rebels won the Mountain West series 2-1 over the Bulldogs. For the weekend,
Keyannah Chavez led the Rebels' offense with a combined .364 (4-for-11) including a triple and two RBI. She additionally had a combined .545 slugging percentage.
Bri Williams and
Charelle Aki each batted a combined .333 for the weekend against the Bulldogs.
Lauren Fettic collected a win and a save in the three-game series against Fresno State.
Yanina Sherwood collected the team's second win in the three-game series.

NEXT SERIES: UNLV will be back on the road to visit New Mexico on Wednesday, April 8 for a doubleheader. The Rebels and Lobos will begin the doubleheader at 11 a.m. PT/12 p.m. MT.

UNLV brings back
Charelle Aki,
Bri Williams and
Maddie Scott who were among the top seven hitters from last season. Aki batted a .311 with five doubles, three home runs and 19 RBI. Williams posted a .262 batting average with three doubles, four home runs and 15 RBI. Scott played all 49 games and started 43 and batted a .223 with five doubles, team-high three triples and 10 RBI.

LAST YEAR: The Rebels had an overall record of 24-25 and a 7-15 Mountain West record. Four Rebels collected All-Mountain West honors.
Ariana Martinez picked up All-MW first team,
Jesse Farrell was named All-MW second team and
Karmyna Becerra and
Yanina Sherwood earned All-MW honorable mention.
